    Hello, we have just purchased a UMM Alter II, with an ambulance body. We are trying to source shock absorbers and handbrake cables. We understand the shock absorbers are Monroe M4460 and M4461, but cant see any for sale online – any suggestions? Also handbrake cables appear to be unique to the UMM, what has anyone used as an alternative?

    Hi,

    You can order the handbrake cables from Portugal. Pecas-Umm is one site, and Umm-online is the other one. They send them pretty quickly.

    The dampers are D8460, and D8461, according to the alternative parts guide. They may still not be easy to find however.
