    Hi,
    I’m new to the forum after finding out about these marvellous machines, and after extensive research, I have decided I want a Transcat, partly because it looks cool in a militry/rugged/somewhat american sort of way.
    I’m looking for a complete car, with good body work, no rust preferably, no preference as to van or estate, I don’t know if they are the variations.
    Also, if anyone could let me know which insurers they are with and what kind of premiums they’re paying, would be much appreciated,

    Try Adrian Flux for insurers, its hard to find an insurance company that knows what an UMM actually is. I pay £400 a year fully comp with it parked on the drive and for 5000 miles a year. I did have a car stolen a few years ago so that has probably put it up a bit.

    Thanks Fritz, I’ll try them tomorrow.
    I’ve seen the Transcat that’s a bit tatty, so if there are any mechanics that can sort it out for a budget, then if be really appreciative.
