Hi guys I’ve just acquired an umm think it’s an alter but the guy I got it from said it was a transcat?
It’s a 91 j reg
5 speed non turbo
65k on clock and needs some Tlc
Just ordered a new starter as apparently it does run ( we’ll see)
It’s a quirky old truck and I think it needs restoring
I’d be happy to sell it complete or buy the bits required to make it complete, a quick look says I need at least a windscreen, bonnet, headlight, front indicators etc sheet metal etc I can make.
Any help would be appreciated message me either way thanks Pete
Hi Pete,
The headlight that you have is round, whereas original fitment was square. As such, you may find that a generic round headlamp, like for an old mini would fit.
The windscreen will probably need to be cut to fit. I’ve read that someone had one cut from a land rover screen. You need to find a windscreen fitter that can do this. I had one made a few years ago, and he came and fitted it on my drive. Can’t remember the name of the company.
